Dr. Markus would never have even considered a career in dentistry in 1971 had it not been for a very forward-thinking empathetic dentist who wanted to change the way the public perceived dentists. Find out more.
Dr. Markus began his quest for porcelain perfection in 1979, making him one of the nation’s first cosmetic dentists. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics (F.A.C.E.). His teaching institute, Symphonic Smiles, teaches dentists across the globe the blueprinting technique he helped to develop to guarantee predictable, precise and magnificent results.
Dr. Markus has taken time away from his practice to campaign against the ADA and FDA to try to get the use of mercury fillings banned, and to mandate dentists be trained in cautionary techniques to be employed to remove these toxic (human and environmental) fillings.
Dr. Markus was trained in implant technique by the originator of the modern day titanium implant, Dr. Branemarck’s Implant mini-residency in 1988. He routinely publishes articles about dental implants.
