Spring 2001 E-newsletter Do you think there's too much sex on TV? Someone asked me the other day to help them gather information for a hearing over a three year old who is unfortunately being allowed by the non-custodial parent to play very violent video games. I was happy to oblige her. A search of Yahoo for: violence & “video games” led to only 52,100 hits, these are some you might find interesting. I worry a lot about the nations youth. What with all the violence on TV and in games, was Burgess’ A Clockwork Orange an accurate depiction of where society is headed? These are but a few, but the message is obvious. Until parents control their children better, Littleton, Colorado may be only the first of many such violent attacks. In our house, my boys simply were not allowed to play them. Period. The Garth Brook’s Touch’em All Foundation has as one of their charities one which seeks to avert violence in the schools. They call this progress? Nothing like this would have even existed a generation ago. Parents and Grandparents: It’s time to show the kids who’s boss! Cut and paste these sites to your browser:
