Significant Clenching Problem Causing
Crooked Teeth
|
This 40 year old professional had a significant problem with clenching,
stemming from crooked teeth and the way her teeth met. |
To restore her mouth, and keep her crooked
teeth from developing further fractures, like this one, it was necessary to build-up her bite,
and make it function so that there were proper contacts in all
movements of the lower jaw. |
|
This is a case that requires extreme precision in planning
and in the temporaries, and in the final restoration.
The techniques used in cases like these are not something that
is taught in dental schools. Most dentists would be challenged to
get the results we've gotten here. Our patient's headaches, which
she used to get every morning (due to nocturnal clenching and grinding)
went away as soon as we had her temporary restoration in place. If
the muscles are happy, they are quiet. |

Our cosmetic dentists' practice in NJ has produced the final results you see here,
and obviously have her smiling all the
time. |
