Raiser for Families
On behalf of the patients of The Centre for Dentistry
at Haddon, Haddon Heights,
NJ Dr. and
Mrs. Steve Markus today presented checks totaling $2500 to each of the families
the three firefighters who died tragically on July 4th weekend in Gloucester
City.
The Centre for Dentistry in Haddon Heights has long been a leader in giving
back to the community that which it could to help those less fortunate.
"Over the past 3 years we have raised over $75,000 during the Smiles for Life
three-month campaigns. We have the skill, expertise and desire to help those
less-fortunate locally, and donate our time and services to help the families
of those who were taken so suddenly," said Dr. Markus.
Every Tuesday, through the end of 2002, The Centre for Dentistry collected
its profits from whitening patients' teeth and donated the money today to the
families
of firefighters James E. Sylvester, John D. West, and Thomas G. Stewart. The
teeth whitening process, which normally costs $500, and achieves incredibly
white results, was also given, as a gift, to the wives and fiancées of the three men.
