But the, most health-care entrepreneurs aren't ex-police officers who authorities said later became organized crime enforcers.

Mazzola was arrested Monday and charged with using Tri-Con Associates of Hasbrouck Heights to help the Genovese crime family get a foothold in a lucrative new business: creating networks of doctors and hospitals to provide health services to employers and unions.
