Fund Raiser for Families
Recent events such as the deaths of the three mothers in the tragedy
at McDonald's in Mt. Ephraim, and the three firefighters in Gloucester
have created the need to offer financial support to the surviving
family members.
Dr. Steve Markus, director of the Centre for Dentistry announces
a charitable program to raise funds locally for devastated families.
The Centre for Dentistry in Haddon Heights has long been a leader
in giving back to the community that which it could to help those
less fortunate.
"Over the past 3 years we have raised over $75,000 during the Smiles
for Life three month campaigns. We have the skill, expertise and
desire to help those less fortunate locally, and will donate our
time and services to help the families of those who were taken so
suddenly," said Dr. Markus.
Every Tuesday, from now through the end of October, we will donate
our profits from whitening people's teeth to the already established
charities for the families of firefighters James E. Sylvester, John
D. West, and Thomas G. Stewart and McDonald's workers Cindy Molino,
Joanne Bowen, and Nancy King. The teeth
whitening process, which normally costs $500, and achieves incredibly
white results, will be done for a minimum donation of $300. It is
our fervent hope that over the course of the next three months,
we can raise at least $30,000.
To help these families out, please contact the Centre for Dentistry
at 856 528-3464, and feel free to share this information with your
friends, families and colleagues.
