TEAM NEWS
Dental assistant, Gloria McCormick has recently moved into her new
home in Runnemede. She has become quite the handy woman in recent
months, and could end up challenging Norm on This Old House for
his job.
Dental Hygienist, Michele Theoharis, still has not moved into her
new home. She will be more than happy to share with you the trial
and tribulations of having a home built. Just ask! But be prepared
to listen for a quite a while!
Smiles for Life
- The Centre had another very successful year with our Smiles for
Life campaign. Smiles for Life is a fund-raising event in which
donations are made in exchange for tooth whitening. The whitening
gel is donated by Discus Dental. We donate our time in the taking
of impressions and fabrication of the whitening trays. The practice
has been actively involved for the past four years. This year the
team raised close to $20,000 for children's charities and placed
in the Top Ten nationwide. Over two million dollars total, was raised
by members of the Crown Council, which is an elite group of dentists
dedicated to superior patient care and continuing education.
