Soft Tissue Management Protocol -

Our hygiene department has integrated a standardized soft tissue management protocol. This is designed to allow for recognition and early diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease. Full mouth periodontal charting will be performed on each adult patient on an annual basis. Soft tissue management or scaling and root planing is the first phase in any periodontal treatment. Early treatment negates the need for more invasive and more expensive periodontal surgery.
